Overview:
 
Our client is seeking a knowledgeable and detail-oriented Estate Planning Paralegal to support our attorneys in preparing comprehensive estate plans and ensuring smooth administration of client matters. The ideal candidate will have experience drafting Wills, Trusts, and Powers of Attorney, and preparing real estate documents such as deeds and ancillary filings. This role requires strong organizational skills, a client-centered mindset, and familiarity with estate planning processes.
 
Key Responsibilities:
  • Draft estate planning documents, including:
    • Revocable and Irrevocable Trusts
    • Wills
    • Durable Powers of Attorney (financial and healthcare)
    • Advance Health Care Directives
  • Prepare and file deeds and ancillary documents
  • Gather and organize client data, including personal, family, and asset information.
  • Coordinate client document signings, notarizations, and final execution of estate plans.
  • Maintain accurate and organized client files, checklists, and calendars.
  • Support attorneys in trust administration and probate matters, including preparing court forms, petitions, and inventories.
Qualifications:
  • Associate’s or Bachelor’s Degree required; Paralegal Certificate from an ABA-approved program preferred.
  • 3+ years of estate planning paralegal experience strongly preferred.
  • Familiarity with estate planning and document generation software.
  • Excellent writing, communication, and proofreading skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple deadlines with a high level of accuracy and professionalism.
  • Notary Public (or willingness to obtain).
Salary Range: Competitive salary based on experience and qualifications.
Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30 AM  to 5:30 PM with a one-hour for lunch break
