The Village of Tequesta is excited to announce the ground breaking of our new community center was held on Wednesday, February 17, 2021 at 10:00 AM at 399 Seabrook Road, Tequesta.

The new facility, located at the site of the former recreation center on Seabrook Road will be a 14,799 ft. multi-functional, environmentally friendly, sustainable, modern and energy-efficient building.   The new center will accommodate programs with expanded times and offerings to better meet the needs of our residents and will include a gymnasium. Additionally, there will be rooms to serve passive recreation like adult education, senior health and wellness, homeowner association meetings, seminars, Mah Jonng, etc.  Rooms for more active recreation such as exercise classes, yoga, tai chi, fencing are also included as well as a dedicated area to serve our youth and toddlers for gymnastics, open gym, mommy and me and more. Mayor Abby Brennan, a long time proponent of the new center stated, “This community center will serve as the pulse of our community and will benefit both this generation and those to come.”
