Hello friends of Wounded Veterans Relief Fund,

Thank you for your partnership over the years with supporting WVRF in a variety of ways, including those of you who have attended, sponsored, and donated to our Annual Ball. As you know, the Ball has been our largest fundraiser in past years; however, due to COVID-19, we are unable to hold the Ball and came up with an alternative event. This Fall, we are taking the opportunity to expand our outreach efforts by planning our first ever TELETHON hosted by WPTV News Channel 5. When we created our budget for 2020, we were planning on the historical success of the ball. The needs of our veterans have not declined during this pandemic and, without the Ball, we need your support now more than ever. Please check out our website for sponsorship opportunities that will help support Florida’s disabled veterans in need. The estimates of the impact of your contribution illustrate the historical average assistance provided to our veterans. We will, of course, apply any amounts you contribute to the areas in which our veterans show the greatest need at that time.

We are looking for Corporate Sponsors, Silent Auction donations and Volunteers to work the Telethon. There will be two shifts for the Telethon - 10a.m. - 3 p.m. and 3p.m.- 8p.m.
