Education Foundation Awards Over $185,000 in Classroom Grants

The Education Foundation of Palm Beach County has announced the winners of the GoTeach! Classroom Grants for the 2023-2024 academic year. A total of 80 projects were selected out of 153 submissions, covering various content areas including literacy, STEM, theatre, history, and ESports. The grants amount to a generous sum of over $185,007.25 and will be allocated to 60 Palm Beach County schools, 62% of which have Title I designation. This year marks a significant milestone as a teacher at Palm Beach Youth Academy, has received a grant to support innovation in STEM that will lead to students obtaining industry certifications. Last year, 83% of students experienced academic improvement as a result of their GoTeach! Classroom Grant participation. The Education Foundation is proud of the success of this growing program and looks forward to seeing the impact of the grants this school year.

Thanks to the generous organizations funding these innovative grant projects. Funders include The Frederick A. DeLuca Foundation, the State of Florida's Education Foundation Matching Grant Program through the Consortium of Florida Education Foundations, The Stiles Nicholson Foundation, Verizon, Aerojet Rocketdyne Foundation, and Regions Bank.
