International Women’s Day Celebrates Achievements of Women
(Palm Beach Gardens, Fla.) – In honor of International Women’s Day on March 8, 2021, Downtown Palm Beach Gardens is shining a light on its women-owned businesses. The lifestyle shopping center has 12 shops and boutiques run by women.
International Women’s Day is a global celebration that dates back to 1911 and spotlights the social, economic, cultural and political achievements of women. The special day raises awareness about women’s equality and lobbies for accelerated gender parity.
“The theme of International Women’s Day in 2021 is ‘Choose to Challenge,’” said Erin Devlin, Shopping Center Marketing Manager for ShopCore Properties, owners and managing entity for Downtown Palm Beach Gardens. “At ShopCore Properties and Downtown Palm Beach Gardens we are proud of our women-owned businesses. We challenge the community to support one another, to follow their dreams and never give up. Because with challenge comes change.”
The women-owned businesses at Downtown include Blessed Boutique, Clay Haus/Craft Haus, Lickstein Plastic Surgery Medical Spa, Lola Chiq/Accessory Bar, Molle Bridals, Pineapple Kidz, Style So Chic, Tipsy Salonbar, Vagabond Apparel Boutique and Whole Pet Essentials.
