Celebrating Our Year of Success

Over the last year, Clerk Joseph Abruzzo has helped to shape the way in which our office serves the community, by putting an emphasis on service and duty.

Throughout 2021, we have focused on new ways to increase efficiency, invest and protect your tax money and improve access across the county to the vital services we provide. There's more to come in 2022.

Clerk Seeks Legislature’s Help to Release Epstein Grand Jury Records

Clerk Abruzzo is asking members of the Palm Beach County legislative delegation for their help in changing Florida Statutes to allow for the release of grand jury records in the Jeffrey Epstein case.

His decision comes after a judge’s ruling in a Palm Beach County Circuit Court case where the Palm Beach Post newspaper sued for access to the grand jury records. Florida Statute 905.27 limits the release of grand jury records.

"I will leave no stone unturned to do whatever I can to shed full light and public disclosure on the Epstein case."

The performers of this year's Money Drop raised $3,500 during the show for Trekita Harris, a single mother of two high school-age children with no steady place to live since she was evicted from her home after falling ill.

Our musical event featured a holiday performance by the Clerk of the Circuit Court & Comptroller’s Circuit Sound carolers, with check presentations to local nonprofits Meals on Wheels, Little Smiles, Leukemia & Lymphoma Society, Peggy Adams Animal Rescue League, and Live Like Jake.

Last year, the Clerk's office saw $32,165 raised through the Dress Down Friday program, all going to these amazing charities!
