Event Description:
The Women in Business Council is dedicated to offering education and networking opportunities for Women in Business. WIBC Mentorship Bootcamp, Presented by Lickstein Plastic Surgery is an opportunity for women facing challenges affecting their career or business to grow personally and professionally. The three-month Bootcamp will offer one-on-one mentorship paired with a virtual classroom with a focus on Leadership. Upon the completion of the course, participants will have gained valuable knowledge and skills to advance their careers while building a network of personal and professional contacts.

Session 1: March 9th - Leadership Toolbox: How To Lead Anything (a committee, a council, a company, etc.)
Kimberly Lea, Campus President of Keiser University
Kimberly Lea serves as the Campus President of Keiser University in West Palm Beach. She is passionate about the power of education to transform lives and impact communities. Under her leadership, the West Palm Beach campus has grown and thrived by adding vibrant and relevant programs to meet the needs of local students and employers. She earned her B.S. in Business Education from Shippensburg University, MBA from Florida Atlantic University, and has an Ed.S with Keiser University. Kimberly is an active board member of several organizations including the Economic Council, Education Foundation, The Women's Foundation of Florida, Executive Women of the Palm Beaches, Leadership Palm Beach County, and the Literacy Coalition. She has served on several panels to discuss the issues facing higher education and workforce readiness, and she works to support a variety of organizations dedicated to helping women, families, and education. Kimberly currently serves as a Trustee and lives in Jupiter and is the proud parent of four children who attend school and work locally.

WIBC Mentorship Bootcamp, Presented by Lickstein Plastic Surgery
Upon the completion of the course, participants will have gained valuable knowledge and skills to advance their careers while building a network of personal and professional contacts.
 
WHY?
To offer growth and support to a female businessperson.  We will:
  1. Identify career inhibitors in her life and work
  2. Create a strategy to overcome the various career inhibitors
  3. Help her develop leadership skills for advancing her career
  4. Acquire concrete, technical, computer and presentation skills to either re-enter the workforce or build her business skills
  5. Instill confidence and provide a business support network
  6. Help her reach their fullest potential
WHO can participate?
  • Woman member (or future member) of the PBNCC must have at least 2 of the below:
  • Women-owned business
  • Younger Woman/Young Professional beginning her career or business
  • Women reentering the workforce
  • Women wanting to advance her career
  • Women leaders working in the nonprofit sector
