Welcome to our Women In Business Council's open forum discussion with women business leaders who share ideas on ways to manage business successfully. The object of the meeting is to empower professional business women to develop and execute solutions to overcome the challenges they face in their business or professional environment. **This is a hybrid event** Members can join in-person at the Chamber OR via Zoom (receive link after registration). This event is exclusively for women.

Kim Lea, Ed. S.
Kimberly Lea, Ed.S., is a transformative leader in higher education and workforce development with over 30 years of experience designing innovative programs that prepare students for success in evolving industries. As Dean of Workforce Development at Palm Beach State College, Kimberly leads efforts to align education with industry needs, developing workforce programs that meet emerging demands in technology, trade and industry, public safety and advanced manufacturing.
Kimberly’s expertise in workforce readiness and strategic partnerships has positioned her as a strong voice in preparing students for the future of work. She has extensive experience addressing the intersection of education and technology, including the workforce implications and the importance of interdisciplinary coordination.
In addition to her professional role, Kimberly is a highly engaged community leader. She serves as the immediate past Board Chair for the Chamber of the Palm Beaches, President of Leadership Palm Beach County, and serves on the state Continuing Workforce Education Committee. Her efforts have earned her multiple awards, including the Leadership Excellence Award and the Giraffe Award, recognizing her impact in empowering women and fostering community progress.
An accomplished speaker and panelist, Kimberly inspires audiences with actionable insights on how education can shape and sustain a dynamic workforce. Her unique blend of strategic vision, hands-on experience, and commitment to collaboration makes her a leading advocate for innovation in higher education.
Our Women In Business Council is a working council of the Palm Beach North Chamber of Commerce that promotes networking and education for professional women and women entrepreneurs while highlighting the women leaders in the community.
Event Cancellation Policy:
A notice of cancellation must be received by email within 48 hours (2 business days) prior to the event. NO verbal cancellations will be accepted. All cancellation notices received within 48 hours (2 business days) prior to the event will be given an event credit of equal value. Event credits will be applied upon request and are good for up to 1 year from the purchase date. There are NO REFUNDS.
NOTE:
ArtiGras Tickets, Loggerhead Triathlon Registrations, and The Leadership Awards Dinner do not qualify for an event credit upon cancellation. Contributions or gifts to the Palm Beach North Chamber of Commerce are not deductible as charitable contributions for federal income tax purposes.
