Packet Pickup - Race for the Cure

Thousands of supporters preparing to join together on Saturday, January 25 for the 29th annual Susan G. Komen Race for the Cure can make plans now to pick up their race packets ahead of the big event. Excitement is building as Downtown West Palm Beach prepares to turn pink with runners and walkers all flocking to the waterfront to celebrate breast cancer survivors and remember others who have lost their lives. Team Captains and individuals who want to get their packets ahead of the main event can RSVP online at komenflorida.org/calendar/ to attend a packet pick-up event at a convenient, county-wide location near them. In-person, late registration will also be accepted at each site. The Race for the Cure is symbolic of Komen Florida’s role in the community, ensuring that no woman -- or man -- ever walks alone on the breast cancer journey. As “First Responders to Breast Cancer,” the organization provides immediate assistance, comfort, assurance, and a compassionate hand-off to a Komen-funded organization that can provide support when the need is most urgent.
