The Northern Palm Beach County Chamber of Commerce Healthcare Committee proudly invites area business leaders and community members to a spectacular evening at Seasons 52. 

Three internationally respected spine specialists come together to discuss cutting edge medical technologies. From disc replacements to stem cells, Drs. Michael Reed, David Campbell, and Bret Baynham will provide a compelling glimpse of state-of-the-art back and neck treatments that are changing the specialty field of spine care.
 
While musculoskeletal disorders affect billions around the world, causing suffering at all levels of society, few people are aware of the #1 cause of global disability: spinal impairment. 85% of the population will experience a significant episode of spine-related symptoms in their lifetime. in the U.S. alone, annual costs related to spinal problems has been estimated to be as high as $600 billion. Michael Reed is the Executive Director & CEO of the North American Spine Foundation. He is also an active member of the North American Spine Society having served various prestigious roles such as Chairman of their Allied Health Section, Co-Chair of their Continuing Medical Education Committee and member of their Conduct & Ethics Committee, International Education Committee, Exercise Task Force and Conflict of Interest Review Panel. Dr. Reed’s research, publication, public speaking, and teaching experiences have focused on preoperative spine care as well as interdisciplinary communication, healthcare reform, and medical outcomes tracking. He completed his Bachelors of Science degree at the University of Connecticut, his Masters of Science degree in orthopedics at the University of St. Augustine, and his Doctorate in preoperative spine management at the University of St. Augustine.


David R. Campbell is an orthopedic physician and spine surgeon. Since 1991, Dr. Campbell has performed over 5,000 successful spine surgeries, which have contributed immeasurably to the restoration and wellbeing of his patients with various spine conditions. Dr. Campbell graduated from the University of Miami-School of Medicine in 1985.  He interned at the University of Miami-Jackson Medical Center Department of Surgery and completed his residency there in the Department of Orthopaedics and Rehabilitation.  He received his Fellowship in spinal surgery at the prestigious Kerlan-Jobe Orthopaedic Clinic in Los Angeles, CA.
 
Dr. Campbell has served as a consultant to the State of Florida’s Office of the Attorney General for spinal surgery and expert medical advisor to Florida’s Agency for Health Care Administration Division of Worker’s Compensation.  He has been appointed and served the last three years as Director of Spine Surgery at Jupiter Medical Center.  


Bret Baynham specializes in orthopaedic spine surgery with an emphasis on deformity correction. As an orthopedic specialist, Dr. Baynham also specializes in uncommon deformity-related problems such as neuromuscular diseases, complex spine deformity, hip dysplasia, club feet, limb length discrepancy, and congenital malformations. Dr Baynham also co-founded Spine Tests LLC. Spine Tests LLC has been formed to advance the current state of the art in musculoskeletal diagnostic tools and methods. The initial focus is placed upon spinal deformity detection without the use of radiography. Dr. Baynham earned his medical degree from the University of Florida in 1987 and completed a prestigious fellowship at the Pediatric Orthopaedic & Spinal Surgery Center of Shriner’s Hospital for Crippled Children in Greenville, South Carolina in 1993.
