All current members are provided with a complimentary Best Practices Training session; members receive information about how to best activate their relationships in the Chamber. In addition, we review the various ways members can engage with our Chamber to ensure they are capitalizing on their membership.

After the Best Practices training is completed, a member of the Chamber will teach attendees a business strategy that has helped them in their business. Event Is open to non-members as well.

Sheri Resnick is Founder and President of Working Gears LLC, a human resources consulting firm that provides counsel to small and mid-sized organizations and specializes in the areas of employee relations, conflict resolution, performance
management, training, policy writing, recruiting, compensation, organizational structure, personnel records retention, and benefits.

The depth and breadth of Sheri’s expertise comes from 25 years of experience providing support and guidance to organizations on change management, risk minimization and leadership effectiveness.
Sheri has a passion for innovation and is committed to pursuing cutting edge Human Resources strategies. Sheri coaches leaders on best practices for managing staff. She is a go-to guide for helping leaders resolve conflicts, deliver constructive feedback, manage performance, communicate with employees, manage employee relations issues, and take appropriate and defensible disciplinary actions. A trained mediator, Sheri has facilitated many mediation sessions to resolve conflicts in the workplace.

Business leaders rely on Sheri to help attract top talent to their organization which directly impacts their business. Sheri has also successfully helped transform organizations by auditing their Human Resources needs. Remedies often include changes to hierarchal structure, training teams to resolve critical skills gaps as well as hiring personnel that possess skills that correspond to responsibilities.

Sheri is a ’Competent Communicator’ with Toastmasters, she has delivered many talks and training modules, and is the founding member of ‘Scientifically Speaking’ a Toastmasters Club at Scripps Florida.
Sheri is an accredited Professional in Human Resources (PHR) through the Human Resources Certification Institute and holds a SHRM-CP credential from the Society for Human Resources Management. She is also a trained Mediator having completed the Supreme Court of Florida Certified Civil Mediation Training Program. Sheri has been a member of the Society for Human Resources Management for many years. Sheri earned a bachelor’s degree in psychology from the State University of New York.

Event Cancellation Policy:
A notice of cancellation must be received by e-mail within 48 hours (2 business days) prior to the event. NO verbal cancellations will be accepted. Cancellations under 48 hours prior to the event, will NOT receive event credit in order to solidify attendance numbers with the event venue. All cancellation notices received BEFORE 48 hours (2 business days) prior to the event will be given an event credit of equal value. Event credits will be applied upon request and are good for up to 1 year from the purchase date. There are NO REFUNDS. 
NOTE:
Premier Events (ArtiGras Tickets / Loggerhead Triathlon Registrations) and Special Events (The Leadership Awards Dinner / Holiday Mixer / Business 2 Baseball / Golf Classic) do not qualify for an event credit upon cancellation. Contributions or gifts to the Palm Beach North Chamber of Commerce are not deductible as charitable contributions for federal income tax purposes.
