CEO Connection: Dr. Kyle Van Houtan, Loggerhead Marinelife

The Palm Beach North Chamber of Commerce's Small Business Advisory Council presents CEO Connection featuring Dr. Kyle Van Houtan, President & CEO of Loggerhead Marinelife Center. 

Join us for lunch at this member-exclusive event at the brand new event center at Loggerhead Marine Life. Guests will enjoy an opportunity to network and learn more about Dr. Van Houtan's background, experience, words of advice, hobbies and more. Additionally, guests will be able to tour the new facilities. 


Kyle S. Van Houtan is the President & CEO at Loggerhead Marinelife Center (LMC) and an adjunct professor at Duke University’s Nicholas School of the Environment. Dr. Kyle is a thought leader in marine conservation and science communication and is committed to finding solutions to complex environmental challenges. In 2012, he received the Presidential Early Career Award for Scientists and Engineers from President Obama for his pioneering research on how climate regulates sea turtle populations. He is a graduate of Duke University, Stanford University, and the University of Virginia. Before joining LMC, he served as the Chief Scientist of the Monterey Bay Aquarium, was a Program Leader at NOAA, and taught at Emory University. Dr. Kyle’s work has been featured by NPR, The New York Times, The Economist, Rolling Stone, Fox News, Scientific American, and more. He lives in Jupiter, Florida with his wife and two children.

To register with an event coupon, please call (561) 746-7111. You cannot register with a coupon online. Coupon registrations will be treated the same as cash registrations, and adhere to the event cancellation policy (below). If you register with a coupon and are a no-show, your coupon will still be collected and cannot be used for a future event. 
 
Event Cancellation Policy: 
 A notice of cancellation must be received by email within 72 hours (3 business days) prior to the event. NO verbal cancellations will be accepted. All cancellation notices received within 72 hours (3 business days) prior to the event will be given an event credit of equal value. Event credits will be applied upon request and are good for up to 1 year from the purchase date. There are NO REFUNDS.
 
NOTE: 
 ArtiGras Tickets, Loggerhead Triathlon Registrations, and The Leadership Awards Dinner do not qualify for an event credit upon cancellation.  Contributions or gifts to the Palm Beach North Chamber of Commerce are not deductible as charitable contributions for federal income tax purposes.
