Helmholdt Joins LeMieux Center for Public Policy Advisory Board at Palm Beach Atlantic

Margie Helmholdt, a lifelong resident of Fort Lauderdale, Florida, has been appointed to the LeMieux Center for Public Policy Advisory Board at Palm Beach Atlantic University.

Helmholdt is president of a clothing company in Fort Lauderdale and has celebrated 30 years in business. She also worked in the airline industry for?14 years.

She attended what is now called Simmons College in Boston, Massachusetts. She is president of the Lou?Church Educational Foundation, past president of the Women’s Center for Breast Health and a volunteer for Holy Cross Women’s Center for breast cancer.

For many years she has led a Bible study in Fort Lauderdale. She also enjoys tennis, and won many tournaments in the past.

Helmholdt’s daughter, Maggie, is a 2016 graduate of Palm Beach Atlantic. Her son, Ryan, will graduate from PBA in 2021. Her husband, the late Dr. Robert Helmholdt, served on the LeMieux Center for Public Policy Advisory Board and numerous other boards and associations. 

Palm Beach Atlantic University is a private, independent university offering undergraduate, graduate and professional degrees, with campuses in West Palm Beach, Orlando and online. The University is dedicated to the integration of Christian principles to prepare students for learning, leadership and service.
