Center for Family Services introduces new CEO, Dr. Fabiana DesRosiers

Center for Family Services of Palm Beach County, Inc. is pleased to introduce their new Chief Executive Officer, Dr. Fabiana DesRosiers.  The Center continues to be one of the leading non-profit organizations in Palm Beach County improving the mental wellness of its residents by providing behavioral health services and education to the culturally diverse community.
 
“We are so thrilled to introduce Dr. Fabiana DesRosiers as the Chief Executive Officer at Center for Family Services.  Her experience in education, psychology and leadership are impressive and I am thankful she has decided to join us in our mission to help children, adults, and families recover from life’s traumas,” says Karen Swanson, Center for Family Services Board Chair.
 
DesRosiers is an Applied Developmental Psychologist with more than 25 years in higher education.  Most recently, she was the Associate Dean of Academic Affairs at Keiser University.  She received her Bachelor’s Degree from Binghamton University and her Masters and Ph.D. from Fordham University.  Her areas of specialization are in toddlerhood and adolescence, especially within the Hispanic population.  DesRosiers says, “I am honored and energized by the opportunity to assume leadership of Center for Family Services, an organization that has been exceptional in its service to Palm Beach County for nearly 60 years.  I have a deep respect for the caring therapists and directors as they provide outstanding service through the unique programing offered at the Center. I look forward to working collaboratively with the Board of Directors and wonderful staff to make a positive impact in the community we serve.  I am fully dedicated to engaging our partners, supporters, and the community at large to strengthen the lives of individuals and families in all of Palm Beach County.”
