Jupiter Resident to Open South Florida Office as R&R Industries Expands Footprint Throughout State

(JUPITER) John Carr has been named vice president of the new restoration division for R&R Industries, an established commercial roofing and building contractor headquartered in central Florida since 1948. A long-time storm restoration specialist, Carr has joined the veteran-owned company to expand its footprint throughout the state and expects to open an office in Palm Beach County later this year.

R&R Industries has operated out of the same location in Volusia County for more than 70 years. Over time, the business has expanded to serve as an approved contractor for all major types of roofing systems. It also has one of the largest sheet metal shops in central Florida.
“Bringing John on the team will prove to be a game changer for us,” said Guy Beasley, CEO for R&R Industries, Inc. “His expertise to help clients navigate the insurance process is a unique skill, and one that we are happy to offer both our current customers and a growing client base here in Florida.”

According to Beasley, the new restoration division will offer a comprehensive suite of services designed to bring properties back to their pre-storm condition. Consulting services will direct the customer through the insurance claim process under the guidance of a GAF master select and certified maintenance contractor, HAAG residential and commercial certified inspector, pre- and post-storm damage assessments, accredited storm restoration teams and 24/7 emergency response teams.

“Our goal is to lead our customers through the complex process of making an insurance claim and getting the restitution and restoration they deserve,” said Carr. “After a great amount of time researching several opportunities, and after meeting with Guy Beasley and understanding the R&R culture and collaborative initiatives, I knew this was the company and team to join and to build a restoration division.”

As Florida enters the summer storm months, R&R Industries is offering a free property assessment to introduce the new division and to help customers prepare for hurricane season and protect their investment.

“Those reports include photographic evidence and include expert observations,” said Carr. “The reports are a comprehensive documentation of the state of a property and they better prepare the owner to file an insurance claim for any damage. Those customers will also receive a reserved priority spot for any post-storm damage evaluations.”

Widely recognized for his restoration expertise, Carr brings many years of experience to his new role with R&R, having worked on major projects throughout the state. Recently, he spent time in Florida’s Panhandle, where Hurricane Michael left a path of destruction, to assist with the management of recovery projects there. He is also the chairman of the Palm Beach Chamber North. An avid golfer, Carr and his wife Michelle reside in Jupiter where he enjoys spending time with their family.

Carr also serves as director of the JRC Charitable Foundation, where he raises funds to support nonprofits who are helping to enrich our local communities. He also serves as a director-at-large for the nonprofit 211 of the Palm Beaches and Treasure Coast.
