Mary’s educational background includes serving as a Lead Program Coordinator of Supplemental Education Services for Sylvan Learning Center, Assistant Director of an early childhood program, Lead Early Intervention Preschool Teacher, and 5th-grade Learning Support Educator of a Severe Emotional Disturbance class. Disheartened by the lack of gains academically, socially, and behaviorally with the children she worked with, she sought out a better way. Since them helping children achieve their full potential is Mary’s and mission. During her almost ten years as a member of the Brain Balance organization, she has witnessed and been a part of hundreds of children reaching that fullest potential. Dr. Alessandra Col
ón
Dr Alessandra Colón’s passion for wellness started at a young age of 14, after surviving stage 4 cancer. Empowered by her love for life and health she is now skilled with proficiencies in sports therapy, rehabilitation, internal medicine, and nutritional guidance. Dr. Colón uses a "whole person approach." This approach to wellness involves discovering the root causes of pathology or dysfunction, and making interventions and lifestyle adjustments that optimize one’s ability to function within a day to day life. She looks to the spine when evaluating a patient's entire body and treats accordingly, as she understands that complete health relies heavily on how body parts affect each other biomechanically. Using this unique system, Dr. Colón is able to help her patients accelerate and maintain their journey to good health. Dr. Colón resides in West Palm Beach, FL.
