Join the Young Professionals of Palm Beach North for their quarterly Development Luncheon on Monday, August 17 as they connect virtually.  The topic of this luncheon is Well-Being During the COVID-19 Pandemic.

Raju Mangrola, MD, PA
Dr. Mangrola is a board-certified psychiatrist. Certifications through the American Society of Addiction Medicine and the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology.  His board certification  include Psychiatry, Addiction Psychiatry, Addiction Medicine, Forensic Psychiatry and Psychosomatic Medicine. He has been in private practice in South Florida for 29 years and has years of experience with  serving the needs of individuals with addiction and other mental health issues.  His office is located in Jupiter, Florida.  He is an active medical staff member at Jupiter Medical Center.  He is also the Chief Psychiatrist with Origins Behavioral Health care, located in West Palm Beach and Texas.

Aleisha Canik  
Aleisha Canik is a Board Certified physician specializing in Internal Medicine.  After completing her undergraduate education in Syracuse, New York she moved to South Florida in order to start her medical training.  After completing medical school at Nova Southeastern University in 2005, Dr. Canik continued her  Internship and Residency at Mount Sinai Medical Center in Miami Beach. Since finishing residency she has been heavily involved in hospital system administration and medical education as well as having a thriving inpatient and outpatient practice.  As Adjunct clinical faculty and associate professor for Nova Southeastern University and Lake Erie College of Osteopathic Medicine, she has focused her practice on evidence based medicine, eventually becoming Residency Program Director for four years.  Now, as part of the Jupiter medical center staff, she brings expertise to the work place and serves as the Medical Director of Internal Medicine Hospital Group.  In her free time she enjoys scuba diving, running and paddle boarding.

Rick Upson, Pharmacist
Rick Upson grew up in Cleveland Ohio. Shortly after graduating from high school in 1976, Rick moved to Florida. He worked at ocean-front hotels in Miami Beach and learned to windsurf, after which he became a professional sailing instructor. Rick attended Edison Community College in Ft. Myers, Florida from 1987-88 and was then accepted in to Nova Southeastern College of Pharmacy, from which he graduated in 1993.
Since 1993. Rick has worked continuously as a pharmacist in a variety of practice settings including Long Term Care (nursing homes), Home Infusion, Hospital, Retail, and most recently, Compounding. Rick had been working in a Compounding Pharmacy for 2 years when he learned, in March 2009, that Palm Beach Compounding Pharmacy was for sale.
Rick purchased Palm Beach Compounding Pharmacy from Michael and Cathy Harrington who started the pharmacy from scratch in 2004.   The pharmacy compounds medicine for humans and their pets.  Palm Beach Compounding Pharmacy was chosen Small Business of the Year in 2019 by the Palm Beach North Chamber of Commerce.  We are Palm Beach North!   

Moderator, Noah Tennyson
Noah Tennyson is an attorney at Nason Yeager here in Palm Beach Gardens.  His practice primarily involves evaluating business issues and disputes, recommending a strategy or resolution based upon Florida law’s requirements, and, when necessary, litigating on his clients’ behalf.  Noah is the Chair of the Palm Beach North Chamber of Commerce’s Young Professionals group.  He is also a Board Member of the Palm Beach North Chamber of Commerce.
