Event Description:
The Wild Dolphin Project, a nonprofit scientific research organization studying the behavior and communication of the Atlantic spotted dolphins in the wild, presents their third annual signature event, Wild Ocean Science. This year’s unique event will feature legendary oceanographer, Dr. Sylvia Earle and will be hosted by PBS NewsHour Journalist, Miles O’Brien. Research Director and Founder of The Wild Dolphin Project, Dr. Denise Herzing, will provide exciting project updates of WDP’s latest research methods, Cutting edge technology, and report on the overall health of the Community of dolphins she has been studying for over 35 years. Dr. Herzing will also be signing books and be available for photos. Doors open at 5pm!
