Healthier Jupiter will be holding a Mini-Grant Workshop + Networking on October 6th from 4:30PM to 6:30PM.
 
From 4:30PM to 5:30PM we will present the Mini-Grant Program, reviewing eligibility requirements, guidelines, important dates and grant writing tips. We will provide some insider tips on projects Healthier Jupiter is really looking to fund this year. We will go live on Facebook and save the video for you to refer to later if you can't make it. Come with questions and ideas!
 
Following the workshop at 5:30PM, attendees are encouraged to stay on or join for a networking opportunity. You must register to be a part of the Networking Opportunity. We will get to know who else is on the call and talk about community priorities.

About Healthier Jupiter's Mini-Grant Program...
For the fifth year in a row, Healthier Jupiter will offer $2,500 Mini-Grants to impact the health of our community. The goal of the Mini-Grant program is to fund projects that address healthy eating, active living and mental health in new, innovative and community-centered ways. These projects will create lasting and transformative change in the health, wellness and success of the greater Jupiter community.
Not-for-profits, government agencies, civic organizations, public schools, school-based groups, houses of worship, businesses and individuals are encouraged to submit applications. Funds available will pilot ideas to improve our collective community health in one or more focus areas:
  1. Increase availability and affordability of fresh, healthy foods;
  2. Help individuals become more physically active on a regular basis;
  3. Encourage people to engage mentally to practice healthy behaviors; and/or
  4. Change the built environment and policies that promote equitable health opportunities.
Applications open September 30th. Grants are due 5:00PM on Friday, October 30th.
