Gold Ribbon Heroes Luncheon

Join Alice, the White Rabbit, and the Mad Hatter in `wonderland,’ and the Pediatric Oncology Support Team (POST) to help raise awareness and funds on behalf of children fighting cancer. The annual event, Gold Ribbon Heroes Luncheon, in its 3rd year, takes place 11:30 a.m. – 2:30 p.m. on Tuesday, March 27th, at PGA National Resort & Spa, in Palm Beach Gardens. Guests of the Gold Ribbon Heroes Luncheon won’t want to, `be late for this very important date,’ with a whimsical setting, delicious meal and program planned to entertain and inspire. Attendees will be treated to lunch, wine or Pimm’s, English-style desserts, and be invited to bid on exciting auction items – featuring unique art works by children served by POST - and dance to live music amongst young cancer patients showing off their style. A highlight of the program, is a presentation by this year’s POST Youth Ambassador, Drew Fogg, 6, of North Palm Beach and his mother Megan, who will share their personal journey in their fight against cancer and how POST walked that journey with them; Event Chair is Nan’ O’Leary, longtime advocate of children and families. This year’s Honorary Chair is Julie Healey, distinguished for her 10 years of charitable giving to POST through her organization, Be A Star Foundation. Healey, who resides in England, was the inspiration for this year’s luncheon theme.
