Event Description:
?Kelsey Doyle: "Facts about Savannas State Park (Live Animals Too!)" Are you looking for something different and interesting to do on your Sunday afternoons ... something that is free and fun? Spend the best part of your Sunday afternoons at Manatee Lagoon and hear from a variety of interesting environmental personalities who happen to specialize in telling stories about really cool things - like the octopus population under the Blue Heron Bridge in Riviera Beach or know why manatees really do matter? Everyone is welcome, every Sunday starting June 12. Talks are scheduled from 2 p.m. to 3 p.m. with time for a question-and-answer session afterward. We will exhibit field work conducted by our Manatee Masters, never-before-seen video and photography celebrating the ecosystem and the diverse and special aquatic life inhabiting the Lake Worth Lagoon and lots more. Ample seating is provided. Advance registration is encouraged, but we welcome walk-ins as well.
