Bella Martinez, a senior at Seminole Ridge Community High School has been involved in volunteering her time for numerous organizations throughout her high school career. Serving as student body president her senior year, she has been in the Student Government Association for three years, as well as the National Honor Society. After graduating Leadership Palm Beach County Grow, Bella went on to intern with The Lord's Place, serving the homeless community in Palm Beach County. Seeing the magnitude of the homeless population, Bella created an organization called Loads of Love alongside one of her peers, Katrina Riesgo. Loads of Love creates and delivers care packages to those experiencing homelessness.
For her senior year, Bella has had the honor of being chosen by her school as a 2020 Community Involvement Pathfinder nominee. She intends to major in Public Relations and pursue a minor in Political Science at Florida International University with intentions of working in the nonprofit industry in the future.
